Prior to founding Robot Academy, I was the lead programmer and builder for the MindStorm Troopers FLL team. We were the first team to win the world championship title two years in a row. I later mentored and taught LEGO robotics, coached teams, and developed curricula for schools.

Bleeps+Loops
I co-founded this music production studio in Seattle and later transplanted it to central Ohio. We hold Electronic Music STEM Camps & Classes for all ages, and we host a variety of experimental synth events. Summer camps are enrolling now. Get in touch about potential collaborations, private events, after school programs, or teacher trainings (professional development). We’re also hiring instructors!
Sandcastles

This book/podcast project has been on the back burner for a while, but is slated for release in 2024. In a series of interviews with people who’ve survived significant paradigm shifts, I unpack the art and science of changing one’s mind.

Weston A. Price Foundation
I’m a food freedom activist, regenerative agriculture enthusiast, and student of pre-industrial food practices (whatever your great-great-great-grandmother would’ve been sourcing, cooking, and eating… that’s the lost wisdom we’re trying to recover). In 2023 I co-founded astoria.life, an online marketplace and parallel economy for regenerative food. Currently I’m working with some folks to found a not-for-profit focused on education for regenerative farmers. The link above goes to the Weston A. Price foundation, a good starting point for learning about pre-industrial food/cooking.
Psychophysics Research
While at Denison University, I conducted neuroscience-adjacent research and co-authored this paper that was published in the Journal of Vision.
Robot Academy
I co-founded this company in high school, and later used it as my MBA project. As of 2021, I maintain an advisory role but focus on other things. Robot Academy still delivers in-person STEM education to kids in central Ohio, as well as unique, cost-effective programmable robots (and Ed Tech platforms) to schools and families worldwide.
